Venona’s history of involvement in schools has lead to the development of an in-house film production course in addition to custom targeted skills training. They are available as co-curricular activities for students (and teachers!) on your campus, during or after school hours. The course is project-based and designed to deliver hands-on experience with all the tools and techniques involved in film production. We specialise in teaching the fundamentals through to advanced practices, catering to students of all ages and mixed year level groups. We encourage peer-to-peer learning as a means of opening communication lines that ensure the lessons we deliver carry beyond our sessions.

35mm Film Photography

The last few years have seen a resurgence of film photography as new generations come to love its unique quality and character. The blend of art and science that comes in shooting, processing, and developing prints from 35mm film presents both creative and technical challenges. We have a collection of tools and materials to help us deliver training on site and can also advise schools who are interested in establishing their own facilities.
